Then, in 1975, the idea was patented which later developed into a spirited sport with tournaments for air hockey being held
every year at various levels. Also in 1975 the Air table Association (USAA) was formed which provided most of the rules for
the game. There were advancements in the understanding, competition, and technology of the game, and many cultures have come
a very long way in providing innovative versions of the game.
